Straight answers
Real ranges from jobs we do every week around Cheras. A quote on site is still a quote on site — but you shouldn't have to guess whether this is a RM150 problem or a RM1,500 one.
Turn off the main stopcock first, then phone — don't WhatsApp. Most bursts are a corroded joint or a failed length of old galvanised pipe, and we cut out and replace the section rather than patching over it. If your pipework is original 1990s galvanised, expect us to say plainly that the next leak is a question of when, not if.
Same day, usually 1–3 hours on site · from RM180
Kitchen blockages are grease, bathroom ones are hair, and outdoor ones are usually roots or wet wipes. We clear with a rod or machine auger, then camera the line if it has blocked twice in a year — because clearing the same pipe over and over is how a RM400 problem becomes an RM800 one.
Usually cleared in one visit · from RM150
On a storage heater it's usually the element or the thermostat, both far cheaper than the tank. On an instant heater it's often the flow sensor. We test before quoting, because a lot of heaters get replaced when a RM120 part would have done it.
Repair from RM150 · new heater installed from RM650
If it's one tap, it's the aerator or the flexible hose. If it's the whole house, it's usually the tank, the pump, or scaling in old pipes. We check in that order — cheap causes first — instead of leading with a pump replacement.
Diagnosis from RM120 · pump replacement from RM750
We do the plumbing side: moving points, running new pipework, and installing the sanitary ware you've chosen. We work alongside your tiler and contractor rather than trying to be them — and we'll tell you before tiling starts if a layout is going to cause trouble later.
Quoted per bathroom · typically RM1,200–RM3,500
Not sure which one it is? Send a photo or a short video on WhatsApp. We'll tell you what we think it is, and roughly what it costs, before anyone gets in a van.

Customers
“Pipe burst at 11pm on a Sunday. Rang the emergency number expecting a machine and got a person, who talked me through finding the stopcock and was here inside the hour. Charged the surcharge he'd quoted on the phone and nothing else.”
“Two other plumbers wanted to hack the bathroom wall to find a leak. Teoh traced it with equipment, found it under the kitchen instead, and fixed it in one afternoon. Saved me a fortune in tiling.”
“Told me the heater didn't need replacing, just the element — after somebody else had already quoted me for a new unit. Been using them for the shoplot ever since.”
FAQ
Yes, for emergencies — anything actively leaking, or an overflowing tank. The number rings Wei Lun's phone, not a call centre. Between 10pm and 7am there's a RM120 surcharge, and we say so on the call before setting off.
Turn off the main stopcock — usually at the meter by your gate, or under the kitchen sink. If water is near wiring or the DB box, switch the power off too. Then move what you can out of the way. We'll talk you through finding the valve on the phone if you can't see it.
For quotes on planned work, no. For a callout where we diagnose a fault, RM120 within our service area — and that's absorbed into the bill if you go ahead with the repair on the same visit.
Yes, and plenty of people do — we charge labour only. The one thing to check before you buy is the rough-in measurement, because a toilet that doesn't match your existing waste position turns a simple job into a much bigger one.
Cheras, Taman Segar, Bandar Tun Razak, Sungai Besi, Kajang and Balakong. We'll travel further for planned work, but emergency response times are only realistic inside that ring.
Ask on the day and we'll show you the certificates. Worth doing with any plumber you haven't used before — it's a fair thing to ask, and nobody legitimate minds being asked.
